In 2013, RightToRead (RTR) was initiated by EnglishHelper™ (EH) in alliance with various stakeholders that include Government, for-profits and not-for-profits engaged in education; corporations, bi-lateral – multi-lateral organisations, donor agencies and intermediary organisations.
EH has developed an implementation model that enables scale deployment of RTM.
An integral aspect of EH’s implementation approach is partnering with organisations that are currently engaged in executing projects and programs with government schools
EH invests in training and enabling partners for RTM installation, usage and monitoring. The goal is to ensure local participation and engagement, cost effectiveness and optimum utilisation of resources.
Key implementing partners include American India Foundation, IL&FS Education, SEEDS, Sikshana, Bodh Shiksha Samiti among others.
RightToRead is made possible by the generous sponsorship and support of – USAID, Dell, Give2Asia, HDFC Ltd, Forbes Marshall Foundation, Goodearth Education Foundation (Eicher Goodearth), Confederation of Indian Industry (Members) and several Individual philanthropists
